When Salesloft is the better choice

  • Your reps already work their cadences and dialer in Salesloft every day.
  • You want engagement, conversation intelligence and forecasting from one vendor.
  • You are replacing several US sales tools at once and want one contract.

When Drummer is

  • You want call capture, scoring and CRM work without buying a sales engagement suite.
  • Your team sells in Dutch, French or German and needs call data processed in the EU.
  • You want an AI twin per rep that drafts each follow-up for approval and keeps the CRM current with an audit trail.

How Drummer and Salesloft differ

Salesloft is a sales engagement platform built around cadences and, since its merger with Clari in December 2025, forecasting. In July 2026 it launched Salesloft Conversation Intelligence, with auto call scoring, mobile in-person recording, follow-up emails and CRM updates (CRM Magazine, 2026), and it offers an MCP server. For a team that already lives in Salesloft, having all of that in one place is a real advantage.

The difference is what you have to buy. Salesloft’s conversation intelligence comes inside an engagement suite. Salesloft does not publish prices; Octave estimates $125 to $150 per user per month for the core platform and more than $200 with conversation intelligence (Octave, 2026). Drummer does not run email sequences. It mounts revenue agents onto the CRM you already have and does the conversation work:

  • an AI twin per rep that captures each conversation, keeps the CRM current with an audit trail and drafts the follow-up in the call’s language for one-click approval;
  • coaching where each scorecard criterion comes with its reasoning and the timestamp that proves it, and managers comment on that moment;
  • EU data processing end to end: storage in AWS Frankfurt, EU transcription and EU-hosted models (security).

If your reps run their day in Salesloft cadences, keep it. If you want conversation intelligence and CRM work without a sales engagement suite, or you need European languages and EU processing, Drummer fits better.

Switching from Salesloft

You do not have to switch everything: you can keep your engagement tool and move only the conversation work.

  1. Bring your scorecards. Copy the criteria you score on today, or start from a MEDDPICC template.
  2. Connect the same CRM. Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Pipedrive, Zoho, Teamleader and Attio work as they are (integrations).
  3. Keep your history. Upload the past recordings you want to keep; Drummer transcribes and scores them.

Book a demo to see your own calls scored.

Questions about Drummer and Salesloft

Is Drummer a Salesloft alternative?

For conversation intelligence, yes; for cadences, no. Salesloft is a sales engagement platform with conversation intelligence inside. Drummer does not run email sequences. It captures every conversation, scores it against your scorecard, keeps your CRM current and drafts each follow-up for the rep to approve, on top of the CRM you have.

How much does Salesloft cost?

Salesloft does not publish prices. Octave's 2026 comparison puts the core platform at $125 to $150 per user per month and enterprise tiers above $200 once conversation intelligence is added, on annual contracts. Drummer is also quoted per team on an annual contract, after a demo with your own calls.

Can I use Drummer next to Salesloft?

Yes. Drummer reads and writes your CRM, so it works next to any engagement tool your reps use for sequences. Teams that keep Salesloft for cadences can use Drummer for call capture, scoring and the follow-up, with call data processed in the EU.
