Drummer + Microsoft Dynamics 365
Opportunities in Dynamics 365 stay current: notes, activities, next steps and stage after every call.
Every call fills in Microsoft Dynamics 365
The rep talks. Drummer writes what was agreed into the record, with the moment in the call that proves it.

Written by Drummer
Dynamics 365 Sales holds your accounts and opportunities, but only as well as someone types the last call into it. Drummer gives every rep an AI twin that does the typing: after each call it writes the notes, logs the activity, sets the next steps and moves the stage when the conversation justifies it. The rep approves, and the opportunity is current before the next meeting.
For enterprise teams, control matters as much as speed. An admin connects Drummer once through Microsoft Entra ID and decides which fields it may write to. Every change after that carries an audit trail back to the moment in the call that caused it.
Qualification fields fill from what the buyer said, in MEDDIC, BANT or your own model. No migration, and no new screens for your reps.
What moves between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Drummer
Drummer reads
- Accounts and contacts
- Opportunities with stage, estimated revenue and close date
- Opportunity owners and their teams
- Your custom fields, MEDDIC and BANT included
Drummer writes back
- Call notes and a summary on the opportunity
- Tasks and activities for the owner
- Next steps and stage changes the call justifies
- Qualification fields, MEDDIC, BANT or your own
- An audit trail for every write
Set up once, in minutes
An admin connects it once for the whole company. Reps do nothing.
- 1A Dynamics 365 admin connects Drummer once, with Microsoft Entra ID.
- 2Pick the tables and fields Drummer may write to. Everything else stays read-only.
- 3Map your qualification fields to the scorecard criteria they belong to.
- 4Reps keep working in Dynamics 365. They change nothing.
Questions about Drummer and Microsoft Dynamics 365
Which Dynamics 365 app does Drummer work with?
Dynamics 365 Sales. Drummer reads the accounts, contacts, opportunities and owners your team already keeps there and writes back to the same records. There is no separate data store to maintain and nothing to migrate: your tables, business process flows and security roles stay exactly as they are today.
Why does the connection go through Microsoft Entra ID?
Because that is where your organisation already controls access to Dynamics 365. An admin grants Drummer access once through Entra ID, so your IT team sees it like any other enterprise application and can review or revoke it in the same place. Reps never have to set up the CRM connection themselves.
Who decides what Drummer writes to Dynamics 365?
You do, at two levels. An admin chooses which tables and fields Drummer may write to at all. Within that, each rep approves the update after the call in Focus mode: Do, Queue or Skip, with undo. Every write is logged with the field, the old and new value and the call moment behind it.
Teams that connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 also connect
- Microsoft TeamsTeams sales meetings recorded, transcribed and scored, without a rep pressing record.
- OutlookThe follow-up after every call, written for the rep and sent from their own Outlook.
- Outlook CalendarDrummer reads each rep's Outlook Calendar, sends the notetaker to sales meetings and briefs the rep first.
Give every rep a day back, starting next week.
Thirty minutes, on your own calls and your own CRM. No migration, nothing for your reps to learn.
