What is CRM hygiene?
CRM hygiene is the practice of keeping CRM data complete, accurate and up to date, so contacts, deal stages, next steps and qualification fields reflect what is really happening in each deal.
Why it matters
Every report a sales leader reads comes out of the CRM: the forecast, the pipeline review, the win rate per segment. When reps update it late, partly or from memory, those reports describe a pipeline that does not exist. Deals sit in the wrong stage, next steps are weeks old and the MEDDIC fields are empty for exactly the deals that need them.
The usual fix is nagging: reminders, mandatory fields, Friday afternoon clean-ups. It costs reps selling time and still leaves the data a few days behind the conversation. The information already exists in the calls; it just never makes it into the fields.
Example
At 31:50 in a follow-up call, the customer says: “Legal has the contract now, we’re aiming to sign before the end of the month, and Sarah from finance joins the next call.” Three CRM updates are in that one sentence: a stage change, a close date and a new contact. In most teams, at best one of them is entered that day.
How Drummer handles it
After each call, the rep’s AI twin proposes the updates: the new contact, the stage, the close date, the next step, the notes and qualification fields such as MEDDIC or BANT. The rep approves them, and Drummer writes them to Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pipedrive, Zoho, Teamleader or Attio, with an audit trail of what changed, when and based on which call. There is no CRM migration and no new tool for reps to learn.
Give every rep a day back, starting next week.
Thirty minutes, on your own calls and your own CRM. No migration, nothing for your reps to learn.
