Questions about Drummer and Android
How do we handle consent for in-person meetings?
The app asks every time. Before a recording starts, the rep confirms with a consent toggle that the people in the room agreed to it. Recordings are processed in the EU, in AWS Frankfurt, under GDPR, and we don't train our models on your data. Ever. Members see only their own calls.
Can the rep put the phone away during the meeting?
Yes. The recording keeps running with the screen locked, so the phone can lie face down on the table while the rep pays attention to the customer. If a phone call comes in, the recording pauses and resumes afterwards, so the meeting stays in one piece without the rep touching the app.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes. The app records offline and stores the recording on the phone until there is signal again, then uploads it on its own. Field reps on a building site or in a rural area record the visit as usual, and the scored call follows once they are back in range.
