Plenty of selling happens away from a screen: in a showroom, on a site visit, at a customer’s kitchen table. The Drummer app for iPhone records those meetings, so they are captured, scored and followed up like any video call.

The rep confirms consent, taps record and locks the phone. A Live Activity and the Dynamic Island show the recording is running. It pauses and resumes on demand, picks up again after a phone call, and works offline, uploading once there is signal.

After the meeting, the call shows up scored on the phone and on the web, with a follow-up draft and CRM updates waiting in Focus mode.

Questions about Drummer and iOS

Does it keep recording with the screen locked?

Yes. Once the recording runs, the rep can lock the iPhone and put it on the table. A Live Activity on the lock screen and the Dynamic Island show that it is recording and for how long, so the rep never has to unlock the phone mid-meeting to check. Pause and resume are in the app.

What happens if a phone call comes in?

The recording pauses for the call and resumes when it ends. A quick call from the office does not cut the meeting in two or end the recording. The rep does not need to restart anything afterwards or remember to press record again; the meeting stays one recording, scored and followed up as a whole.

What if there is no signal at the customer's site?

The app records offline and keeps the recording on the phone. As soon as there is a connection again, it uploads on its own, and the call is transcribed, scored and followed up like any other. Basements, building sites and rural showrooms are no reason to skip the recording.
